I was a soldier in a battle of world reaching proportions, alt-universe and fantasy as well. I was fighting against underworld people almost rat people- and was the last surviving pteradon rider. During the battle itself I spent most of my time in the air, fighting from above, but also rolled the cosmic dice which *i think* allowed people to gain powers with no rhyme or reason, often granting powers that tear people apart. The battle wound down and I landed on the edge of a terrace next to my queen. There were (7?) of us on my side while our opponents were still many. My pteradon was killed immediately and my queen offered my life for hers. I was dragged into the sea and as a began to drown I rolled the dice again. It granted me the ability to leap long distances and a Midas touch to convert all material into a pliable laminated fabric material that could not be ripped or pierced. As I ran, her lieutenant followed. I kept converting metal and ground, anything I accidentally touched, even converting a foot soldier, killing him immediately. I was cornered at this large warehouse structure on the edge of a cliff, I entered the barbed wire fence and wrapped myself in the wife, making a cloth amour. I went inside of the building and accepted death/capture while overlooking a cliff onto the ocean. The lieutenant followed me inside and offered a choice. He asked if he could give me a painless way out instead of the anger and pain filled path I was heading down. He glanced towards the second floor filled with stained glass red rooms, and I instinctively knew they were death chambers (and I’m pretty sure harvested and condensed dice given powers for gifting). I told him I would rather die fighting than to die in peace. The I woke up.
