Really Big Wave

Was with M at 70G or someplace similar, except our apartment is on the Hudson and partially below the river level. It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon. We see people wake boarding outside and climb out the back of the building for a dip. There’s several other people out there, chilling and enjoying the weather/water. The sea level is rising higher and higher, and at a certain point covers the door that we went through to go outside. Maggie snaps a picture on her phone, then climbs in through the window (which is at a higher level than the door) to get back inside our apartment. I join her a few minutes later, using the door, after the sea level has dropped a few feet. I walk into a public side hallway mainly used for laundry and find that the neighbors have left some food around (we’ve also left some onion and cheese fries there for neighbors to grab from). I grab a pork butt slider and a package of toothpaste left by the cleaning people and stroll back to the apartment with M. She shows me the picture she took and posted to instagram.
