Sharing Dream Worlds

In this dream I was in some sort of downtown or tourist environment, with many friends, family, and coworkers in the area. I dreamed that I slept in this dream and had lucid dreams, but believed the initial downtown environment was real. I had several of these 2nd-level lucid dreams and they seemed extremely easy to induce. Additionally, I partially remember that they evidenced having an effect on the surface world, including being able to have multiple-participant dreams. I was excited by this and urged friends and family to take part in these dreams too, which they could. I began to suspect the entire charade was not real, but I wanted it so badly that I suspended disbelief.
