Deepest insecurities and social fears were played out for me in a way too abstract from real life, in an almost episodic movie like way, so as to sneak in and lure me to be a participant in them. At a shopping centre entrance, cannon hill Coles. I’m with mum and jade and a big dog similar to a hyena. Inside the store near the checkouts is Lara and her mum Belinda with one other personal, an elderly local. Anger arises in me directed at both jade and Mum and their tendency to recklessly blame and become aggressive toward ‘others’. In this case they are yelling or talking loudly but aggressively towards Belinda. I’m humiliated and angry at them all. For some reason the word fear comes into my mind also. Ben in a bucket hat doing strange rhythmic dancing with his hands and fingers. Reminds me of a secret language used by hands on that fantasy book I read. I see Jakes face and torso. His skin is coloured more warm than my memories and previous dreams of him. The blonde in his hair is emphasised and he stares blankly past the lens which are my eyes. He is not coated in a black jacket and black hat, he has an angelic and innocence about him. There is a splash of pink behind him, behind his hair. Or caught in his hair? Doesn’t match they style of his hair as the pink is slicked down and his hair is cropped short and upright otherwise. Vahna in my dream. Telisha and similar girls are also there. They or we look to the sky. Waiting for a storm. A cyclone. From or to Gympie. There is a man in a car he warns us also. But for some reason we are apart of this carnival thing. There are performances. I’m attracted to one of the performers, a woman, in silvery blues and whites. She is an acrobat or a dancer. When she finishes she seeks her bag or food. Then she is warned of the rain. Is this a high school production this carnival? Twlisha and some of the girls are in their Wynnum west uniforms. There is so,etching eerie about the sky, mechanical almost in a scaley way. There are no great winds or thunder. Trees on the scene are leafless and blackish.
