Lava Engulfing Earth

In car with family near my house when suddenly waves of lava engulf the streets, and melt down miles of trees and buildings. I made a trip to Seattle and my sister drove me to the top of some hill, and we both watched as all of the buildings and people were being burned and swept away by the ocean of flames. Everyone thought that the world was ending. I heard some people casually talking about an alien invasion.
