Squatters

Ok so my dad and I last minute rented a 4 bedroom 2 story beach house. We had been exploring downstairs where his room was then I decided to explore upstairs to look for my room. I figured I’d had the beach front room so I looked at that one last. The whole house gave me the same vibes and my grandparents house. Everything was vintage and the roof was actually dripping into the family room on the second floor. When I walked into what was supposed to be my room, I found 4 adults sleeping in a king bed. I soon realized that I recognized one of them and got to talking and decided to let them stay for the night. The next morning, I had to tell my dad that the ceiling was leaking and when he came upstairs (after I hid all my new friends) he heard the toilet flush and I just said the house was old but he didn’t believe me and walked into a bathroom full of my new friends and then I got in trouble for not telling him about them even tho they were the ones who broke the law by staying in a rental house.
