Gunfight

I was caught in a gun fight with a madman and the police. This was happening in a restaurant cum office kind of set up. He and his accomplice were eating and talking loudly and psyching up the rest of us. The police were already there. Then the firing starts. He makes good progress, kills one of the policemen and starts rounding up and killing hostages. I get behind a table and try not to look. After sometime he spots me and starts yelling questions. I mumble some answers which infuriate him even more. Then someone whispered to me to give nice answers. I said I read Ramayana when asked what I read. He seemed satisfied.
