For the first half it's like a movie. There's an older man than me, 25-35, floating in a spaceship. He has no helmet on and is wandering around. Suddenly he comes across his sister ship, which contained his buddy. His friend had sent a distress signal so this guy (I feel his name was Robert) came to check it out. He thought it was a routine distress and boarded. The lights were in a power mode, giving the interior a dark yellow glow, again not surprising that maybe his friend's ship was just low on battery. Robert floated to the center station which was completely black save for a pulsing red light that flashed in warning and a dim blue backlight of a TV monitor the size of the wall. He looks around, adjusting his vision to the red pulses. Then his eyes widen and it cuts to the next scene. Now I'm in first person, sitting with an Asian family. There was a 40-50 year old couple, my real younger brother, and their real daughter who looked around 10. They spoke in mainly English with some Japanese/Korean/Chinese? But we all understood what they were saying. The couple who was our adopted mom and dad told us of Robert's going away party and how they missed him. They also said he should be back soon. The next scene is around the same dinner table with Robert after he had returned. The family seem super happy to have him back. The couple say how all their children leave them and that their eldest real daughter had already left to live in the UK. I wondered to myself if I wanted to leave, maybe for America, or back to the UK. Then I thought, I wanted to live in this country in real life so why am I now contemplating leaving it to go back? It continues like a normal family meal (This gets movie-like again with all the flashbacks) Cuts back to Robert on the sister ship. He's being chased by something and is racing back to his ship. Red lights are flooding the rooms and leaving it pitch black like tidal waves. Robert has pushed a lockdown button that closes the doors one by one to seal them forever. For some reason between corridors scaffolding criss crosses to stabilize the interior for a crash (?). Anyways he gets to his ship and does the same thing. You see his silhouette running for his life. Cuts to me driving to collect Robert from his space ship that crash landed. (I guess I'm one of the crew that go to rescue fallen ships) I have a spacesuit on myself with no helmet and no boots or gloves. I get into the ship and see the red lights. Worried I look around the ship for my older brother. He calls out to me in the center station and tells me to be careful. He holds a plasma gun and hands me a regular assult rifle. I'm super confused as to what made him take these measures but I stay cautious. Then he starts shooting wildly. I tell him to calm down, that he'd hit nothing like that. His panicked face breathed more deeply and his expression settled a little. Then I see something tiny, the size of a penny, scurry along a table. Rob goes nuts and shoots at it, I do too. We lose it, unsure if its still alive or if we had blasted it into non existence. I notice something black on my ankle. It was the alien! Sucking on my leg like a leech. It looked a lot like one too, slimy and black, except it was more tadpole/sperm shaped with a thin wriggling tail. I pinch it off my skin and hold it tightly between finger and thumb. I needed to kill it in certainty so stomping on it won't do, also it may slither away so I needed a container. In the end we took it home and secretly filled a bucket of bleach and drowned it. That seemed to work so we sealed it in a small plastic tub to soak in bleach. Cut to the blinking red lights in space and the thing is closing in on Robert. His face loses colour and he almost accepts his death by stopping and turning to face it. The thing is inches away from him and Robert locks eyes with it. Just then, two scaffolding poles cross through the mass and holds it in place. Cut to after the family dinner when Robert is back home. All is normal, Robert is out with friends, my little sister is out at school. My dad is working. My mother taking a nap. Me and my real brother have a free house. My brother, (we'll call him Jake,) is in my room playing on a PC, clicking away happily. I'm on my bed chilling when I notice that black sperm alien sliding up the desk!! I leap from my bed and slam my hand on it. I miss. Again. Missed. It took a few attempts of me looking like a cat after a laser to finally pinch it and keep it in my hand. Jake, who was clearly shocked, asked what the hell was going on. I had to explain to him everything and he seemed to come to terms with the news pretty well. I said I knew a way to kill them but I couldn't remember so I was looking around the house for a solution. Ah yes the bleach from my window sill, and the bucket was there too. My memory shot back to me and I prepared to kill the alien. It became a little somber as I realized we may have an invasion on our hands, and I could've prevented it by taking more precaution. Cut back to Robert on the ship. Tears glisten in his eyes with each wave of red light. Standing before him was a body, pinned in place, not moving. Suddenly I see his face. The pale face of Robert's friend, his eyes swollen shut, his lips blue.
