I can't kill you?

I was running away from a dog with two friends.. The dog was our friend but for some reason he wanted to hurt us.. I later got out a gun and shot the dog in the leg & he passed out.. While walking away with my friends, the dog woke up and caught up with us then started talking to us.. He didn't want to harm us anymore.. I wanted to hug the dog but my two friends pulled me back thinking I'm gonna hurt him again.. the dog then said, "Don't worry.. out of the 3 of you, He ( me ) is the only one that can't kill me
