the storm

I was driving in my car toward the mall. It was raining terrible so I went to get off the exit near the hospital. The car in front of me stopped quickly and wouldn't precede. I noticed extreme flooding ahead, like a roaring river. I knew my car would never make it. I parked my car there and the car ahead allowed me to ride with them. I don't remember part of the dream, but I ended up with the men supposedly in my town, but it was a resort type of place where the weather was beautiful. The group I arrived with were men between 18-30 and all looked almost identical with dark curly hair, dark eyes, tan skin, and tall. I got along with one man very well and we shared a meal. I recall thinking to myself that I was married and kept glancing at my ring. Although I could feel myself being attracted to him, it didn't go any further. I never mentioned being married because I think I was enjoying the attention. I kept talking with my left hand trying to get him to recognize the rings without me pointing them out. Out of no where cadence (my niece) arrived. She wanted to hang out, so we did. The weather was better so I was going to take her home. Some lady asked if I wanted my bag she found. I said yes. One of the boys was there and cadence wanted to go hang out at their house. She lied to her mom and said she was going to the girls house in the apartment above his (she did not know this boy). I'm not sure why I allowed her to stay, but I did. She appeared to be 14-15 in my dream. I remember feeling protective of her and thinking it was a bad idea. At the same time I think I felt jealous because she was going with looked like the boy I had been talking with. Then my alarm woke me up.
