Thor and time travel.

I’m hanging out at a bar/restaurant with the Scooby Doo gang. Shaggy has these giant squid like arms that are super long and squishy with giant hands on the end. He has a thing for Velma but she’s oblivious. The rest of us all think it’s adorable. We head outside to the parking lot, and run into Thor along the way. He’s dressed somewhat casually, trying to blend in, yet still has some pieces of armor on. He has this little charm thing, that makes it possible for him to shrink down like ant-man. He uses it, despite us telling him not to, and sneaks into some random car and attempts to drive. I am secretly in love with Thor in the dream, so I go running after him, because we just know it’s not going to turn out well. As expected, he crashes the car almost immediately, and I rush to pull him out. He’s still the size of ant-man so I’m just carefully holding him there, trying to get through to him that he needs to reverse the charm thingy. Eventually he does, and then I just give him the biggest hug of relief, not caring if everyone connects the dots that I like him. He ends up thanking me, and then he takes the charm off and puts it on a little chain so that I can wear it like a necklace. I ask him what he’s doing, because that charm is like a really important thing, people of his race all have one and they’re like super special or whatever, and individual to each person. We’ve told everyone else that he’s fine so they continue on ahead, so it’s just the two of us talking at the back of the group. He tells me he understands, but that he no longer trusts himself with it and that I’m the only one he would want to have hold on to it for him. I’m deeply moved, and with the way he keeps looking at me, I start to wonder if maybe he likes me too. I push the thought away, convinced he only sees me as a friend. We join back up with our group, who are no longer the Scooby gang, just some random people, and head back to my house—which is more accurately my father’s house I inherited. It’s a very old place, but not run down or anything. It’s rather dusty, but it’s full of all kinds of trinkets and gadgets and magical items. My father was some sort of wizard who dealt with fairies and the like, and everything he had was in here. It felt Harry-Potter-esque. We’re all upstairs in one of the rooms, by a balcony, all just chatting. I always seem to end up standing next to Thor, and I can’t figure out if it’s all just by chance or if he’s somehow planning it. Then Nakia from Black Panther shows up, and she’s apparently Thor’s sister. She notices the charm I’m wearing around my neck and shoots a questioning glance to Thor. She knows it’s his. Thor steps to my side and wraps a hand around my waist, saying, “she’s protecting it for me. And she’s protecting me from it. There’s no one else I’d trust with it.” At this point I’m low key freaking out, because like, surely he wouldn’t do and say all that if he didn’t like me, right? A few minutes later when he’s talking to someone else, Nakia pulls me to the side and tells me basically to take care of him and whatnot, and that’s when I finally realize he does indeed like me. With this added confidence, when I go back to join him I wrap my arms around him and snuggle up close to him. He doesn’t object to it at all, confirming my thoughts, and now I’m like high key freaking out. I stay close to him the rest of the night, until eventually people start heading out to go back to their own places. Now that we’re finally alone, I can ask him about it straight out. “Well of course I like you,” he answers. “Why would you think I didn’t?” *cue internal flailing* We kissed a bit, and then just cuddled on the couch while watching out the window. It was so peaceful and it all just seemed so comfortable. I never wanted to leave. Eventually—I’m not sure if it was right away or if it was another day—I asked him very playfully, “so, if you could time-travel to any time, where would you go?” We both knew what a silly question it was, because of course Thor could already time travel anywhere and time using Molnjir. Only logical. His smile kind of faded, as he asked me why I’d brought it up. I hadn’t exactly been trying to be subtle. I wanted him to take me time traveling, duh! He already knew this, and he knew why I wanted to travel because he knew exactly where I’d go. He ended up telling me how he’d always wanted to go back to when his ancestors fought wars on the Scottish highlands, and how it had been the first place he’d gone as a teenager when he was given his abilities. Then he gave this whole spiel about how horrible it was to have to see them like that, and in pain and whatnot. I asked why he didn’t step in and help them, and change the outcome of the war, saving the lives of his ancestors. He basically gave me the butterfly effect lecture, saying hat doing so might have caused any number of other problems in the future. I told him that if I could go anywhere I’d go back to this such-and-such festival where my great grandfather’s rivals went after him to ruin his reputation, which was what ultimately set my fathers life on this other track of having to constantly work long hard hours to provide for and raise me, and meant he was never able to become famous the way he would’ve been if not for them. I just knew that if I could change that, that when I came back to this time my father would still be alive because he wouldn’t have had such a shortened life from the worry and stress. Thor told me it wasn’t a good idea, essentially saying he wasn’t going to take me. I just smiled and told him it was okay. While his back was turned I grabbed on to the charm around my neck and felt in my mind for the time traveling power that I’d felt there before. I knew the charm was connected to him, so I knew it had to have some of his powers. In an instant I warped through time and space to the festival thing a few hundred years earlier. There all all kinds of tents and tables set up in this grassy field, with lights and music and such. It was rather cool, kind of like a 19th century carnival. Since I have magic, im flying around. In my time, I would be able to do this because magic had become outlawed, but here, no one knew my identity, I couldn’t be arrested because I could just time travel again, plus most of them had no idea what magic was anyway. I spot my grandfather’s rival, a grown up Chloe from Miraculous Ladybug. The way she looks at me, I know if got the right person because she knows that I’m flying because of magic, she’s got it too. She’s entered in a competition, which my grandfather is also competing in but at a later time. I don’t have to help my grandfather win, no, I just have to make sure that she doesn’t. The contest consisted of each “contestant” having a small boys choir of about 5-6 kids, guiding them in a song while simultaneously cooking hotdogs for everyone in the audience. I flew around and found these three boys way at the end of the line who looked super downcast. They had no coach, so they couldn’t compete. I decide they shall be my team. Only problem is they can’t sing a lick, while Chloe has these absurdly skilled singers in her choir. Discreetly I cast a little spell on the kids in my group and suddenly they can sing astoundingly. Since I only have 3, I join in and sing with them. Later, I sneak into the fridge and sabotage Chloe’s group’s hotdog stash claiming that “sorry I thought they were ours, my bad.” I knew Chloe was using magic to make her group sing better, so I just needed to hinder them enough that they didn’t win. We eventually got in a fight, and I got disqualified for cheating, but all the drama had distracted Chloe enough that their team didn’t win. She was furious, as they awarded first place to my grandfather, who despite having magic, hadn’t used it. When she say me smiling, she connected the dots of who I was and where I was from, but I only noticed it as I was traveling back to the present time. Back in the present, I ended up standing right out front of my house. I’d intended to come back to the exact same spot but I was just a little bit off. I dash inside the gates past the guard at the front. “Hey! Where are you going?” He yells. “It’s okay, I live here!” I shout back. I sprint my way through the entry and living room, which feels a bit more crowded than I remember. It’s dark though, so I can’t tell exactly why. I get upstairs and run to Thor with a big grin on my face. He’s kind of confused, wondering how I’m running in when I’d just been standing behind him. Then his face drops. “You just travelled back there, didn’t you?” “But look,” I say motioning around us. “Nothing is different. I didn’t mess anything up.” “But you did interfere, didn’t you?” “Well sure, but I—“ We both freeze as we hear noises downstairs. It sounds like a bunch of people. He gives me that look and we both hurry to the staircase. A big group of soldiers file in, flipping on lights and taking to cots set up all around the living room. “Yeah, you sure didn’t change anything,” Thor mumbles. “No, no, no..” I’m murmuring as I look around and realize that a lot of things are out of place, and many things are different entirely. I rub down to the stairs to the guard/butler guy and ask him why all these people are in my fathers house. He asks who my father is and I wrinkle my forehead. I’ve known this guy since I was just a kid, why doesn’t he know me. I tell him my last name and he answers, “no one by that name has owned this house for over two hundred years.” My stomach drops. “This is a convalescent home for civil war soldiers now.” Thor and I look at each other. Not only had I wrecked my own timeline, but I’d created a war too. “I’m going to fix this,” I say, reaching for the charm around my neck. “No! Don’t—“ But I had already gone back. When I returned, things were worse. We found out my father had died even earlier than he had in the original timeline. I kept traveling back to different points, determined to fix the mess I’d made. I return to Thor, and I’m sobbing because nothing I do makes it any better, only worse. He wraps me in his arms and I just keep crying. I look down and see that my arms are halfway see-through. I start freaking out asking him what I’m supposed to do because I’d now erased my own existence and now I was disappearing. He’s panicking a little bit and I’m clinging to him begging him to do something, but also begging him not to let go of me because I don’t want to die but I just keep disappearing more until finally I’m completely gone and the charm necklace just falls to the ground in front of him with a muted clatter.
