Eridan from Homestuck was sentenced to death and his jail cell was in my basement. I was supposed to argue to The Council why he was not worthy of death through a presentation. I half assed the presentation because I didn't care if he lived or died, but we eventually became friends as I spoke to him in his cell which was actually just a fish tank. On the day I was supposed to present, Eridan stopped me before I went to argue and he told me he prepared his own presentation which was way better than mine, and he argued his own case.
