This seems to be a type of recurring dream. It varies in details but the theme is always the same: I was either back working and on a field trip or I was working in my own attic. Don’t remember what I was working on. It seemed to be either a design of some sort, or an actual physical mechanical thing that I was either repairing or making from scratch. It was work related, that is, it felt as if I was back working for a living. In the dream I said out loud that something wasn’t right because in the dream I knew I was already retired. My dad was somehow part of the dream and his part was to help and advise me in my task. The project may have had to do with a bathroom design, bathroom repair or new bathroom construction. I remember that it was a very difficult task and in the dream the pieces of what ever I was working on kept changing. It was very difficult to apply any logic to my work at hand. It seemed that all logic went out the window. Note: this lack of logic and the fact that my task in the dream is either to design something, repair something, or build something new is the recurring dream theme. In these dreams it seems I go round and round in trying to complete my task and it becomes very frustrating, however I always persist in completing the task. It seems sometimes I complete the task the best I could with what seems to be the lack of logic, but the outcome feels as if it’s not the best job I could do. Other times while having this recurring dream theme I don’t complete the task and I wake feeling very frustrated.
