I was in a condo overlooking the beach. It wasn’t our condo, so I don’t know where we were. The living area was huge with white granite counters and wall-to-wall windows looking out over the beach. I was in the condo alone walking through the open kitchen and could see the sun over the water. Even though I couldn’t tell if the sun was going up or down, I was amazed at the right orange colors that filled the sky and reflected off the water. It filled me with such a warm sensation. I grabbed my phone and headed out to the balcony to take pictures, but I quickly realized the pics weren’t capturing the incredible beauty, so I stopped and just looked around. I looked down at the pool and beach and didn’t see anyone. I was shocked that I was the only person getting to experience it. The next thing I know, I’m back in the condo and what once was clean and peaceful was now cluttered and busy. Even though I couldn’t see everyone, it felt like multiple people were there. I was in the kitchen when a boy (10-11) walked up eating from a yogurt cup. When he was done he pushed the cup across the counter and in doing so it tipped over, which caused yogurt to spill. He started to walk away and I said, “Hey... where are you going? Look what you did. Don’t just leave that there like. There are other people staying here too and they don’t want to clean up your mess.” At this point his stepmom (one of our really good friends) came out as I was saying that. I felt like I had overstepped my bounds and started to apologize to her. She told me not to apologize then looked at him, well more GLARED at him and said “he knows better. PICK IT UP... NOW!” [We’ve gone to the beach w them the past few years and are again this year... maybe I’m just ready to get back to the beach... but that won’t be until June then July😭😭]
