cat comes in my room

i always leave the door closed when i go to sleep bc i don't like being woken up in the middle of the night by my cat. at around 2 am it felt like my cat came in and i jolted wake in my bed but didn't take the covers off quite yet. my cat was pacing back and forth on the bed and climbed over my head 4 times. that's when i took the covers off the looked to see that the door was in fact open. i was exhausted so i just let him stay on the bed and fell back asleep. that morning i wake up and find the door is closed and there is no cat.
