My moms golden retriever, cars and rain

Not sure why but i was rushing around like a mad man. I had Winchester, my moms golden retriever, with me . It was down pouring out. I had opened the windows of my car and Winchester jumped out went to go across the road, got hit by a car. The car dragged him a good 5 yards down the road. I went by Winchester, screaming no, no, no, no. I parked on the side if the road. As I went to get out the rain had stopped it was sunny and bright out. Winchester was just laying in the road his head up and looking around and his tail was wagging. Like nothing happened. No marks or blood or any evidence that he got dragged up the road by a car.
