Plant Magic

Everyone has different powers to fight monsters. We’re at church. I have plant magic. We are told about a monster that’s like A T-rex with too many arms(?) that we have to fight and I ask too many questions about it. We slowly make our way through church which somehow has grass until we encounter it. It sends glowey balls of light (like the ones from Portal) at us but we deflect them back at it without being hurt. It charges at us and by that point I realize it actually has a human form and is talking to us. We’re all hiding beneath the counter but he reaches under and grabs me and we have a civil conversation. I pretend to be smug about something, he gets annoyed. I realize that only one of my spells works on him and it makes him have allergies. Some of the others have run out of the coins needed to cast spells and some don’t have any spells that work on him. I crouch behind the counter to figure this out. There are four of us that have spells that we can use that work. As we slowly beat him down, crouched in a corner, (me holding a flowerpot under his nose) and he becomes younger and younger until he is about 13. He looks defeated, but all of my teammates have run out of coins and my flowers don’t do any damage. At this point I am beginning to feel myself wake up. He grows back to his normal size and is lit on fire, appearing enraged. We can see that his health is still critically low (like in a video game). I wake up.
