creepy haunted house

I had a dream that me, my sister, and my cousin we're walking down a street of houses for some reason and we came across this really creepy one with dead trees everywhere and it literally looked like the most cliche haunted house and the front door was open and the wind kept blowing it so it kept making banging noises which added to the creepiness. For some reason we thought it would be a good idea to go inside the house, like are you serious wtf are you doing, not only is that a good way to get killed by a ghost or crazy person with a shot gun that lives there but it's literally invasion of someone's property. We went inside the house and it was even creepier inside, everywhere we stepped it creaked really loudly, it was freezing, and there was a weird grey substance coming out of the walls. We went up these really long creepy stairs and then heard something come from downstairs as we almost got to the top. We hid and tried to look at what it was and there was a man with one arm walking around, but he didn't look very intimidating, he looked old and weak and kinda like he'd be a sweet guy. We had to plan an escape, so we waited for the man to walk into a room and we started sneaking down the stairs, which was impossible to do quitely because everything was creaky, we managed to get to the bottom of the stairs, and we noticed the front door was still open, and the next thing I knew we were just running for it, and somehow the man was right there outside, with a smile on his face, and looked like he was coming in to hug us, so we did, and he thanked us for visiting his home and then went back inside. So ya that was a weird dream.
