Warehouse/Hotel Birthday, not Celebration

So we’re celebrating my friends birthday in a warehouse of sorts. (In real life, we celebrated it in Austin at a nice home, months ago). There are plenty of people around. My girlfriend is there with me and we had a room upstairs in the warehouse, I guess it was also a hotel. At some point, everybody starts getting ready to leave for a bit to have fun outside. Me friend tells us to get ready to leave. My girlfriend is telling me that we have to leave to take care of her son. So I give her a look and speak to her like we talked about the fact that we were going to stay the entire weekend, or however long we were to stay to celebrate his birthday. We end up deciding to stay. So I go up to our room to secure our things. As I do, I notice a guy sitting next to our room door. He seems to work for the warehouse/hotel. As I’m coming out, I ask him something (I can’t remember what), to the effect of helping me secure whatever belongings were going to stay in the room. Whatever it was, he tried to sell it to me instead of it being a courtesy of the hotel. I decline his offer. As I go to close our room door, it doesn’t close and is left open. At this point, I’m highly annoyed and am saying to him, “really, I can’t even get extra protection, now the door is wide open?” Then another worker guy is on the other side and offers to fix it for a charge. That’s when I start yelling and going off on the both of them. At that time, the manager comes out to see what’s going on. He is so apologetic, and scolds the workers for what they tried to do and get extra money out of me. He then pulls out money (a good amount) to give to me to make up for the trouble. That’s all I remember.
