Movie Night

It was night time, and I was in this giant movie theater lobby room, there were lots of people there. And I find my friends are there, so I ask what they’re up to. At the same time that this is happening, finals were the next day, but it was like 10:45. I was worried I was going to fail for staying up late instead of studying, but the test I was worried about was for math, and it was one of my teachers from 2 years ago. But I said hi, and one of my friends said they were thinking of watching a movie, and they were deciding on which one. I offered to join them, but for some reason felt she didn’t really want me to be there, or at least wasn’t too thrilled. But we decided on an ocean movie that features a lot of water and a giant shark/crocodile monster. When we walked in, the theater room was huge, and there were about a thousand seats, but all the people there only sat at the top seats for some reason. And there was actual water on the bottom, with the screen behind it. I felt guilty because I hadn’t brought any money, yet all I could talk about was how good the food was there. Again, my friends seemed to kind of not want me to be there, and I felt like I was encroaching upon them. Then another friend who I don’t talk to as much appeared, and I really wanted to sit next to her, but she didn’t want me to, she wanted to sit next to someone else. Then I got food, and I realized I hadn’t paid, and my friend’s family who was there was going to have to pay for me. I then thought how I should’ve been like my other friend, and just choose not to have any food like she did since neither of us had any money. The movie passed in a flash, and I realized I hadn’t told my parents where I was, simply texted them in what my brain told me was the next morning, though it was still dark out. We rode to our homes together on this weird contraption, it was kind of like a tinier ship, only it had wheels and a lot of mechanical arms on the top, and no inside. As I got home, I walked into a room that doesn’t actually exist within my house, and it was really dark, but I could still see. My dad was just standing there waiting, and I told him we went to the movie theater, and all he did was nod his head, and walk away. Then my mind just started swirling and in one instant my mom was congratulating me for finishing my homework, and I thought about how I could enjoy summer break now, to sitting at the final for math and panicking because I didn’t study. Finally I woke up, though every time I closed my eyes, I would partially come back to the dream
