alien invasion

i’ve been having so many weird dreams lately and regretfully I have not been writing them down and have forgotten most of the last two weeks worth. I do recall I had a dream Lily would not stop following me around and I was trying to ditch her and ended up confessing my disdain about her to another girl, of which my admission made me feel guilty. I also dreamt that I was trying to not cry in front of Kai and had to hold back tears (later the scene was replicated in real life upon waking as he had been rude to me the evening before). Onto the main event. I dreamt I was going to school, I lived in some island that somewhat resembled Nova Scotia. I was told to get on a boat to go to school with the other girls. We were all maybe a few years younger than I am now. Aboard this ship which was not so large but pirate-like; we were told the ‘aliens’ were returning. I believe they came from the sky, but in what i’m not sure. Their vessel began shooting cannon balls at our ship. Their first attack came straight through the middle and skimmed a dirty blond girls head, and the rest of us gazed at her in fear as she lay on the ground moaning with a bloody forehead. More cannonballs shot through the ship, they seemed to keep hitting the ends of the ship, as they shot face our boat the long way. I was near to the front end where it narrows so I was paranoid I would be killed but mostly they shot towards the back. They hit us around 7 times before letting up slightly, no one else seemed to have been hit but the boat was increasingly taking damage. Someone said to run and we took the opportunity to run back to the gangplank. Next we were at the school, how we go there I’m not sure but the school was a large building with around 3 stories. Some other girls and I were running trying to hide, about three of us. We were sneaking through the hallways and ducking into different rooms for brief shelter. It was kind of like in “a quiet place”, if they caught you sneaking or if they heard you they’d know you were a human. The aliens themselves looked like people but with the burnt orangey kind of hair you get with a bad bleach job. as well as lizard like eyes and a blank stare. I was in a store now alone within the school and one of these alien lizard ladies walked in. I knew I had to pretend to be one of them so she would not kill me as I had no chance to hide. She asked me some rather peculiar questions which I cannot perfectly recall, but she asked three and I responded as I believed they would. The last question was something like “and what do you make of ___” to which I replied - oh why this!!! _____ - and I was given a nod of approval. After this interaction my mission was to leave the school and return home. I was hiding among the way back making sure to not make a single sound when the alien people walked by. I go back to my home which is a small cozy thing tucked in the woods , only to realize the lizard people had moved in! They were taking our homes. I went to a neighbouring house which was similar to mine to see if I may find shelter there, but it appeared the alien people planned to wipe all of us and begin life on our land. Was rather creepy
