Weird Dinner Party

We went to a dinner at my husband’s partner’s house. His wife did all of the cooking and there were at least 50 people there. I cannot believe how much food she made and that she had time to do it. Once we got inside the house we started to look around and the place was completely decorated and had so much amazing beautiful furniture in it and strangely it had like 25 dining room tables. We were told to pick out our chairs wrap them in a blanket and bring them to The banquet room. The blankets were to make sure that we didn’t neck any of the woodwork or chip any paint. However there were not any chairs that I actually saw so instead I took these gigantic bowling ball pins that were made of glass and decorated beautifully. Once I was at the table eating there was a strange game going on throughout the entire meal. We were each given a whole stack of little Post-it notes with various words on them. When any of the words in our stack of Post-it notes were said during regular conversation then we were supposed to stand up. So throughout the entire meal there were various groups of people standing up and and then sitting back down. I just felt like the entire dinner party was so strange because the wife must’ve been manic because she had accomplished so much as far as decorating, creating this game, and hand writing all the words on the post it notes and cooking up a gigantic meal for well over 50 people.
