Japanese Croy Boy

I am walking through the streets of, I believe, Tokyo. It is definitely Japan anyway. I am with a group of people who I know but I can't quite remember who they were. As I am walking a busy street I realise that I can control the content of the digital billboards by punching things into a keypad and the pedestrian crossing boxes where you hit a button to get the traffic lights to turn red. Although all the letters on the keypad are in Japanese script, it resembled a normal QWERTY keyboard so I can figure out where the letters are. I type in CLIFF RICHARD (for a laugh) and suddenly the digital billboards start showing Cliff Richard related advertisements. I think that is hilarious. I then forget all about that as the group I am with start running round a corner. I follow suit and I am running alongside two people, a Japanese guy and a guy like me but I am not sure who it was. I am talking to the Japanese guy about Japan and Japanese people. As we are running we have to dodge round various people. One of whom is a particularly strange looking Japanese woman with long blonde hair and a decrepit, old face - even though she is not old herself. There is a railway station ahead. As we get to it a train pulls in and we have to run even faster to get to it. The train is on the other side of the tracks so we have to jump down on to the tracks to get to the other side and climb up to the platform to make it. The conductor keeps the train doors open as he waits for us. There are people bursting out the doors as if all the carriages are fool and as my group approaches the door they all hang back as if to say "how do we get on?". But as I approach the door I see that the carriages are not filled at all and all I have to do is get past the people at the doors and make my way inside the train carriage. I find some seats for us to sit on and "reserve" them by pulling them up as they can fold up and down. As I'm do so other people realise there are plenty of seats and there is a mad dash to get to them but I hold my ground and keep the seats that I had reserved for my two travelling companions. As we are travelling, I see another group of people that I recognise. I don't know if they were part of the original group I was with on the streets of Tokyo but I recognise them as workmates. I think to myself "why wasn't I invited to be part of that group?". I put it to the back of my mind though as I realise I didn't invite any of them to be part of my group. The Japanese guy I was with has now moved seats and is talking with the other group. I am desperate to ask him a question. He is wearing a blazer which looks to be part of a school uniform. It is burgundy in colour with yellow trim. In yellow the words CROY BOY are embroidered on the lapel. I go over to where he is sitting and initially I have to wait as he is part of a discussion with the other group. I then ask him why he has the words CROY BOY embroidered on his lapel. At first he starts playing with a loose tooth but then, as he is doing that, he starts to explain. His dad was originally quite wealthy and lived in a particularly affluent area of Scotland. He then lost it all and had to move to Croy which was against his "tradition". I took that to mean that his father was not a Catholic as Croy is an area in Scotland which is known for being populated with many people of Irish descent. But the word "tradition" I took as an anti Catholic slant. It then turned out that the train we were on was travelling from Edinburgh to Glasgow via Croy.
