Lock down at home

I was in my house in my moms room and an announcement can up that my house was on a lock down. I lock the door and told my my we can block the door with her big dresser and she shook her head. She told me to get my brothers. I was scared thinking ‘what if the person is here?’. My mom didn’t seem to care about me so I unlocked the door and walked down the hallway. I turned the corner and see a man in a beanie and a mask grab me and I scream. My little brother comes out of the room and I tell him to run while crying. I kept telling him but he tried physically fighting the guy. I believed we made it back into my moms room safely.
