Joe and I

I was in our house that looked different. It was like we were still married but I knew he was married but she wasn’t there and he didn’t seemed worried about her coming back soon. We were trying to be intimate and I wanted to take a shower but the shower didn’t work. I tried to go in the other shower and grabbed what looked like a robe. I realized it was her new jacket with pants or skirt. It still had tags. I looked and it was size 8. I planed to wear it so it smelled like me and hang it in her closet to show her it was moved. I also thought of leaving underwear somewhere where she would find it. There weee a lot of cats and dogs that I kept having to put them back in this room. People were in and out so we could never start intimacy. I planned to tell him after intimacy that it felt like a dream we were together at home again. There was a school of girls always around. One girl showed me a picture of my grandmother Irene that has passed but not in the dream. She wanted me to give her something so I told her I would take her to upstate New York and she was happy.

AI generated interpretation Thank you for sharing your dream. Dream imagery often reflects emotional states, relational dynamics, and inner thoughts in a symbolic way. Here’s a calm, neutral interpretation focusing on the main symbols and themes you described: Your house looking different might symbolize changes in your sense of stability or personal space—how “home” feels or represents relationships in your life. The presence of Joe as someone you share a connection with, but who is also married to someone else, introduces themes of complicated intimacy and boundaries, possibly reflecting feelings of longing, tension, or unresolved emotions. The shower not working could represent a difficulty in cleansing or renewal—wanting to refresh or start anew but feeling blocked or unable to fully do so. Trying the second shower and finding the new jacket with tags might symbolize encountering aspects of the other person’s life or identity that is still fresh or “new” to you, along with a desire to leave your mark or presence there (through scent or clothing). This could express a subtle negotiation of space and significance within overlapping relationships. The many cats and dogs you keep putting back into a room may symbolize numerous distractions, responsibilities, or emotions that need managing, making it hard to find privacy or focus. The in-and-out flow of people and the inability to begin intimacy suggests feeling interrupted or unable to fully connect in your current context. The school of girls and the interaction with the girl showing you a picture of your grandmother connects to themes of legacy, guidance, or nurturing from past generations. Promising to take the girl to upstate New York could symbolize a commitment to care, support, or lead someone toward a new or peaceful place—perhaps reflecting your own wishes for growth or healing. Overall, your dream seems to explore themes of connection and boundaries, the complexity of relationships, the challenge of renewal or change, and the influence of past and present relationships on your emotional life. It invites reflection on how you balance your desires, personal space, responsibilities, and connections with others.
