fooled into engagement

My mother comes out of no where she gave me an old style gold ring ...she said wear this ring and accept the proposal its a goodmatch belive me this person wont even bother you...i dint want toaccept , but out of my mothers trust i wore the ring ...next very secound i saw that boy at my place he said he is waiting fr my mom .i saw him he looks like my uncle who is having 3 kids which have recently hit puberty . i paniked and went to my mom removed my ring and said "i dont like the ring and the boy , both are oldstyle"
