Respect others

This dream takes place in my home town village of Maplewood NJ as I was waiting in line at a pizzeria. While in Line I noticed two "Meat head" Italian guys who seemed to be security for the pizzeria. They were asking this skinny "goth" dressed white kid to show them what was in his book bag. The security guards eventually grabbed the bag and I noticed the kid got extremely scared. The kid pulled a gun and pointed it at the guard and demanded he let him go. At this time I was only 3 people from the action so I duck down and start making my way to the door. I eventually make it out and start running up the street and decide to stop in this fancy restaurant . I find the manager and tell him to close and lock all the doors. What felt like only a couple seconds after I warned the manager, there was a news announcement stating the kid was shot dead. Shortly after his death these faceless apparition, skeleton like figures were approaching people and etching there faces. I realized that the apparitions were only approaching those who have hazed or have made fun of other people in the past. As I made my way through the apparitions, I was reminded of a situation where I was picking on someone in grade school. Nervously wondering if one of the apparitions would approach me as I made my way out of the restaurant, one eventually did. I was given a choice, either physical which I assumed was the "etching" on my face or "spiritual". I chose Spiritual and the apparition was surprised by my selection. He scanned my wrist with this blue light and said " I can see you don't possess any happiness". I was then transported in this game like dimension where I had to solve this riddle for me to get out. I vaguely remember the apparition saying "from the edge of the broom is where it hatches and flys away", which was a clue to solve the riddle. When I woke up, the moral of the dream that I understood was to never haze or hurt anyone because they're different than you.
