Unforgettable Dream - an old dream

The dream had two parts, with a brige. The first part was thrilling where I was getting chased by a feline creature among trees. The brige was me getting to safety once I reached that floating platform, escaping the creature with the help of my friends who lifted me up just in time. The platform was actually an island. The second part of the dream was more peaceful, yet sad and melancholic. My lover was standing ahead and we reunited. I ran and we hugged each other. The rest of the dream was us hugging then another scene of us sitting on the edge of the island, legs in the air. This is a really really brief description of my dream, I omitted lots of details and emotions, but I can post it another day in details. I woke in tears and aching emotionally. I didn't want to leave him. I never dreamed again with him. I don't know if this love was a part of me like dream interpretations say, or if it was a past life love. This reunion felt like a goodbye the closer it was from the end. Of course, even if I tried to go back, it was erasing the dream even more. Luckily I wrote it and talked about it. So I remember it wholly and in details, unlike any dreams I've had. I cried so much in my wake. I couldn't stop thinking about it/him, and I thought about it many times as time went by. I'll find it out eventually.
