Ex boss and Chess

I was on love island, washing some dishes when my ex boss turned up. She told me that she lost her job because she lost control over her staff, who play pranks on customers. I felt sorry for her. Next scene: I was in this run down ruin shopping centre. There were these two kids who had a chessboard but no pieces. So I scavenge the area for some pieces that I could craft. I made sure all of the pieces had flat surfaces so they could stand up straight and the detail was good. Unfortunately when I gave the pieces to them, they couldn’t stand up and kept on falling down. A couple of them crumbled into dust. The kids weren’t impressed. I felt disappointed and useless.
