Wash My Shoes

Adrian at a meeting asked me to wash his favourite black shoes. They were slip ons, hard leather with shiny black stucco-like tops. I was a bit worried. Put them ina delicates bag and threw them in a luke-warm, dark load at the half-way mark. After, the shiny black was definitely diminished. More of a burlap look now.
