I had a kid and wanted the best for her even though I’m cheap

I was in a class room fuuuull of stuff, like a storage room. Most of them were regialr sized items all just in a glass room. They were all donations so I was scavenging through for anything I’d like or could use. After I was upstairs in my house (the one I live in with sandy) and I was with the Persian woman I trained with at work and another girl. Me and the Persian woman were getting ready to go to the department store. I needed to get something to attach these two cute flat plastic anime toy looking creature figures that belonged to my kid to my kids bag. I told the girls I wanted to go back to the glass room and see if there’s anything I can find there first. I showed thin sowing thread I found and said maybe that would work. I thought about it and realized it could break, and the charms were rare I knew my kid would be really upset if they lost them. I said “you know what I can’t use this string, I need something better quality, I don’t want my kid to lose the toys she loves” my friend nodded happily and lovingly, the Persian woman was more straight faced. I encouraged the Persian woman to come to the glass room with all the stuff with me! I told her if we don’t look at it it’ll be donated anyways, let’s do it!
