With mates in uni and the Crystal Maze

First waiting for friends at uni, and some of them were BUSMS people especially LW, who told me about phoning SL who couldn’t answer him. Not a BUSMS dream though. Main part was somehow being in the futuristic zone of Crystal Maze. Me and another guy only discussed with each other what challenges to complete, no Maze Master was there. First he did one game and I think he may have won a crystal. Then he did a neighbouring game which had 3 min time limit, in which he had to build structures from diagrams given. While he was doing that, I explored the room which had a couple of chemicals and had some sort of kids area. I pointed out an error to one of the structures, and he recognised it. We didn’t win the crystal and left the room. It was then my turn to do a challenge - a mystery one actually. My partner pretty much was the Maze Master and led me to the challenge. For 2 min, I seemingly had to perform good and bad actions given to me in response to scenes shown on VR. Found it very hard to put headset on me. I was running out of time and wanted to complete it so I stayed. I was eventually locked in after time ran out, and the room discoloured.
