Out of all things to have a dream about with a coherent storyline, it had to be about a show that I've only watched 3 episodes of. Go figure The main 6 were going through a stadium, talking about the event that was going to happen soon. Of course, it was Rainbow Dash who was the most psyched about it. The strange thing was, it didn't look like a stadium normally seen in the MLP world. It looked vaguely like a real life setting, built by humans for a sport like soccer. Suddenly, they came across what looked like a pony in a security guard outfit, but something about her was off. She was maroon, with a black mane, lavender markings around her eyes, and her tail was oddly shaped. Her pupils were slit shaped, her muzzle was shaped more like a jagged beak, and she had no teeth. Instead, she had black hooks with a golden ring hung on each top one. I vaguely remember her name being something like Griselda, but with an N in it somewhere. I'll just go with Grislenda. Then a small, cute, squishy, pony looking creature appears. Two or three of the six fall for it, and some sort of spell is cast over them. There was something about the strange hook mouthed character holding her tail aloft, and those who are entranced do the same. Part of them is absorbed, and they disappear. One of them asks, "What did you do?" and notices the gold rings, which Grislenda can seem to hide and bring into view with an open and close of her mouth. So it's implied that the rings are important. The ones that aren't entranced somehow manage to break this spell to save their friends. This happens because their power is stronger than Grislenda's. In the process, they free more than just their friends. They also free HUMANS, and lots of them. Enough to fill the stadium. Grislenda, angered, conjures more cute, tiny, pony-looking familiars, and the humans scream and start to freak out. Some of the 6 hold off Grislenda and her deceptively cute minions, and others help get the humans out. The humans are herded into Equestria, where they end up crowded around Celestia. Most of them are simply grateful to be free after so long. A few, especially one man, seems to believe that the princess "owes them" somehow, and managed to drop more familiars on the innocent humans and ponies, taking over the city. The man who said that they "owe him" flees. Foul play is suspected. Later, Celestia and Twilight Sparkle are sitting up in a castle balcony, all of those who remain uncaptured hiding within the walls, when they hear a quiet, metallic jangling noise. It's Grislenda. Celestia asks her why she dares to show her face, and says something about Cupid and abusing the powers he bestowed on her. Grislenda tries to walk away from the confrontation, but Celestia stops her with words, giving off a pink heart aura. For some reason, this implies that Grislenda had feelings for Celestia, and was bound to be a plot point if I hadn't woken up.
