Falling...?

My mom, my sister, and I went on vacation and we had to drive this almost complete vertical road. But before we went down that road, we had to attach a parachute to the back of the car. While we went on to that vertical road, it felt like we were falling while the wheels were barely touching the ground. After a certain period of time, we had to deploy the parachute.
