The time Washington was a desert

I cant really remember how it happened but all of Washington was turned into a desert. So me and my football teammates were exploring until we were attacked by rodents that came out of some bogs. (Capybaras I believe) I guess i died and respawned or something because i saw my teammates get attacked too!
