A menagerie of weirdness

The first part was about dreaming itself, I saw that when I fell asleep only a part of me was falling asleep but another part was waking up. The part of myself that was waking up looked like a large black octopus. Next I was going on a trip and realized that I had literally brought nothing - no clothes, no phone, no money. I talked to my old band manager Chuck about this and he said he would wire them to me when I got to my destination. There was a bus that was white with red trim, it had a contraption on the roof, I got in a debate with someone about which buses were worse, these white and red buses or the standard yellow school buses. Next I was skateboarding down a street very fast, there were a few cars but I could get around them. I skated on to the property of a Methodist church, and there were old people outside staring at me. Then I was in front of a movie theater, all of the movies in this theater were Vietnamese. I looked around and everyone else was Asian, I was literally the only white person there. I went up to the posters to look at them, they all looked like quite violent movies, and the posters looked like they were drawn by the same guy. In one of them a guy was raising his fist and he had these spiked brass knuckles on them. Next I was in a room with a large group of people. They were huddled around an old television listening to Lana del Rey talking. She was saying that people who don’t rap shouldn’t try to rap just to fit in. There was a man there who looked a lot like Eddie Murphy but he was supposed to be a relative of mine, he was grabbing a bunch of various things and putting them in the microwave. He asked me to watch them while they cooked. In the last scene I was lying on the floor in a dark room, but I had a blanket on. Hovering in the room near this large window at the far wall was an enormous swarm of bees. They were just hovering in place. One at a time, a bee would fly up close to me to have a look at me. I was nervous but didn’t feel in immediate danger. One of them actually landed on the blanket and I was trying to make it fly off the blanket without being too forceful. I wondered if I made a run for it if the swarm would chase me.
