University trouble

I was trying to set up a demo for a lecture. It was an unnecessarily complex machine, with unknown purpose. A linear actuator was used to press a button on a power supple which rotated a mirror to align with a sensor to do something. It almost worked, but not quite. I was teaching a class in Russian history. I meant to set up the machine, but didn’t do it before lecture. I tried to set up during class, but only one student attended and didn’t care. There was a natural spring fountain erupting from the wall of an otherwise empty room. I had a conversation with a geologist studying it. There was a chart on the wall recording the water speed every day. I asked if we could predict based on geothermal temperatures or the water level in a lake, but he seemed uncertain. I was also supposed to teach a chemistry lecture, but I had not taught any classes this year. I didn’t know when it was scheduled. I asked a student, and they said it was at 6:30. Even in my dream i was so tired as to Alamo t fall asleep, and I didn’t want to teach this either. I couldn’t find my office. I was attending an improvised play. One actor came out of a pipe in a big pile of dirt on the stage. They were looking for someone to play a villain. A woman near me was very excited. I tossed bits of dirt on her from a plastic cup, to help her stand out. She got the role! She had the same name as someone else in the play. I am waiting outside. It’s a different school, it one that appears often in my dreams. I was going to call my father to pick me up. I looked at the street name. I had all my equipment in a backpack, and it was so heavy I could barely walk. I thought about biking home, but it’s several hours (again, familiar dream landscape). I was able to jump very high, as if it were low gravity, and bounced around. I went back inside, and ended up resting in a doctors checkup room. Here the dream ended. There was also a segment about getting groceries and a family reunion, but I don’t remember the details.
