This again

Had a dream that something exciting happened so I called him to tell him, he answered and I started talking but he said he had 15 minutes left in his shift. I apologized and said I should have asked before calling. He said " not your boyfriend, you don't have to call me just because (whatever the rest of that sentence was)" I was shocked but apologized. He kept going on about how he'd never want me. It hurt.
