Flooding in a house

I was in a building that you needed to walk through the garage to get into the house where the external door and the door between the two were on opposite walls. There was a bunch of people in the house when it suddenly started flooding from the rain. The water was coming under the big garage door. Water got about 4-5 feet high, it was crazy. Next we were in the same house and I had memory of the flood but everything was cleaned up. And I though it was odd that there was about a six in drop in the door way from garage to house. Next I was with my brother, sister in-law, and nephew. We were in the garage. I was putting metal strapping bands around my brothers beer cans for whatever reason. Then I woke up. (Ps. I have never been in the house, but the garage my be modelled after the one from work)
