I'm not cool

My mom, me, and Adam, are in a kitchen overlooking a party. And my mom starts saying "don't worry about the cool girls...like gryphon, don't let them get your self esteem down. You're cool in your own way." And I had this sudden realization that I was not cool and I turned to Adam and was like "am I lame??" And he was just like "lol yes" and then I laughed about it. Also we were eating pound cake. And then in my head I thought back to all the boys who weren't interested in me and I was like oh it's literally because I'm not cool, oh. Oh. Well that's okay. And that's all I remember.
