Lead in a play or run errands?

It was late Friday night and we were wrapping up the usual party we have with a few friends. After everyone walked out my wife turned to me and hesitated saying she wanted to go see the King Arthur play the highschool down the street was putting on. I said sure and we left. The cast consisted of a lot of people from my old highschool but the building was my wife's school. My mother was directing the play but I barely see her. People kept wanting me to be the lead but I have stage fright so I kept refusing. Instead I was running errands for everyone. Most of them were simple like getting a class of water but they would end up ding super difficult to compete. My old friend Vince asked me for some caffeine. To get this for him I needed to go to this hotel building for the street in the middle of the night. I ran up the stairs to the 3rd floor and then had to squeeze through about a 1 foot by 1 foot door to get into an elevator to go the rest of the way up. This took INCREDIBLY long. My office was upstairs and I got a caffeine pill. On my way back it was snowing and I had to feed a wild dog. When I got back to the school it was an old Victorian building in the middle of the city. I gave Vince the pill and told my mother I got everything done. The play was half over and there was an intermission.
