Double Universe

I'd been in and out of this building, it was like the apartment complex manager's room for where I was living in the dream. I would go there every day, and one day found my counselor's office there and we realized I could have one more appointment for the school year. I think that day also, a bunch of monsters appeared and I had to run home. But they were there too and I wasn't safe. I later found out that there were two universes that crossed, or that a little creature crossed them. Ours was kind of old fashioned while theirs was more advanced... but more of a dystopia. The creature was looking for something over there, but brought over the scent of skunk so other creatures there could smell it and tell that other-worlders had crossed over - skunk didn't exist on the other side. it was confusing and I don't have too much more information. Just that many things were mirrored/had equivalents on the other side. Like, each had a place with a bunch of small animals marching or floating in a big crowd of a line. And I think they tried an invasion on our side so I had to release this ultimate monster from the cave I was in, only to realize my mistake and vow to fight him back.
