dream awake

Last night, when I got up to pee, I had a strange visual disturbance. Vertical lines, very thin, symmetrical, identical and sort of shimmering, moving, filled with snow. I couldnt shake them. And the whole thing was moving back and forth really fast. I was sitting on the throne, in the early morning twilight, trying to figure out what was happening. Maybe my REM sleep was continuing though I was awake and conscious.
