I was practicing with SHINee for a performance. Then I was walking the halls (it was a school) with my blue nitrile gloves on, figuring out how to make signs to announce SHINee's concert tour. I had an idea to use my gloves and write on them. Then I ran into the "front" desk, which was towards the back of the school. One of the women at the desk wanted to know what I was doing. I told her that I was supposed to be making and placing flyers about SHINee's concert tour. She asked if she could help me by printing out the fliers and I said that I had an idea that I was working on. As I walked away with a pen now in my hand, I was thinking that I was going to use something else to write on and wrap it in plastic. I was concerned about the pen writing on the surface, as the material I would be writing on was mail package bags. I went to the stage to perform as a backup dancer with SHINee. I nailed the dance (Sherlock). After the performance, I sat at the back of the stage to watch people being recognized at a ceremony. The MC started with acknowledging those in acting. They were about done acknowledging those in acting when they let one of the leaders who mentored those in acting speak. As they finished up, one asked me a question. They said that I definitely showed potential in acting, so why did I not consider making acting a career? I mentioned that I enjoyed acting, singing, and dancing, but that I really wanted to put my focus on the things that I truly enjoyed the most: singing and dancing. After that, I left the stage. I ran into Amber from F(x) and we talked. While talking, she told me that I had embarrassed her to my family, whom I had shared K-Pop with as we walked passed a mural of 3 of the members. She went to find her mural on the wall with me and pointed it out. I told her how proud I was when I shared with my family. She then mentioned that she had seen me dancing with EXO and BTS, as she pointed out their murals, and then even pointed me out in the mural with BTS. I confirmed that I did and mentioned that those were some of the best moments of my life. I told her that I needed to go and rushed to the auditorium. The MCs were in the middle of acknowledging a new group of people. With each group, they opened the floor to the general public for questions before moving on to the next group. I needed to use the restroom, so I did my best to slip into the question line so I could quickly get to where I needed to go. While the person ahead of me was asking questions, I tried to slink my way up the aisle to the back to get to the exit. Then they started acknowledging me for my performance and graduating at 19. I could hear my mom chuckling in the audience as I chuckled myself. I laughed a bit as I explained that I was not 19, but 32. Everyone was shocked, while the MCs mentioned that I looked so young. I told them that people tended to mistake me for younger, but that I was absolutely a lot older than they thought. In my mind, I was wondering why I had once again overshot my age by a year. Then they continued to acknowledge me and said that they hoped to see me at the next music awards. I chuckled and mentioned that I was not fond of public speaking, but that I would definitely make due with the situation.
AI generated interpretation Thank you for sharing your detailed and vivid dream. This dream appears rich with symbolism related to self-expression, identity, growth, and navigating public recognition. Dancing and performing with well-known K-Pop groups like SHINee, EXO, and BTS suggests a strong desire to connect with creative energy and personal talents, particularly in singing and dancing. The presence of practice and nailing the performance could symbolize your confidence in honing your skills and feeling capable in areas you deeply enjoy. The school setting may represent a space of learning and personal development, while the blue nitrile gloves and your creative idea of writing on them to announce a concert tour suggest innovative thinking and a hands-on approach to communication. The gloves themselves can symbolize protection or preparation, perhaps indicating you are carefully managing how you present yourself or your ideas to others. Running into the front desk “towards the back” of the school and interacting with others about your plans shows openness to collaboration and a willingness to share your vision, balanced with a protective care over how it materializes. Your concern about how ink interacts with different surfaces might reflect real-life considerations about how your messages or expressions will be received or preserved. The ceremony with acknowledgments and the question about pursuing acting as a career highlights themes of potential, choice, and authenticity. Your response—that you enjoy acting but prefer to focus on singing and dancing—illustrates a clear sense of personal priority and staying true to your passions. Encountering Amber and discussing murals of various K-Pop members, including yourself, can point to feelings about legacy, community, and how you see yourself within a larger cultural or social tapestry. Sharing K-Pop with your family and feeling proud indicates a blending of personal interests with close relationships, while the interaction about her feeling “embarrassed” introduces subtle nuances of vulnerability or concern about how others perceive you. The situation in the auditorium, where you try to slip away to the restroom but end up acknowledged for your performance and a “graduation” at age 19—despite being 32—might reflect reflections on youthfulness, how others see you versus your own internal sense of age, and perhaps thoughts on growth or stages of achievement. The laughter and surprise included in that moment convey a lighthearted acknowledgment of how time and identity are felt and perceived differently. Finally, being encouraged to continue performing despite discomfort with public speaking could symbolize encouragement to step into the spotlight and embrace visibility, even if it feels challenging. Overall, this dream weaves together creative enthusiasm, self-awareness, public recognition, personal boundaries, and your navigation of talents and relationships.
