Buying a House

My husband and I put an offer on buying a house. Somehow we met the sellers. They were a married couple - Frances McDermott and Gary Oldman (not famous in dream or married in real life). They were eccentric and very insistent that we hang out with them. We told them that might not be a good idea before we settle the house purchase, but our protests were ignored. They got a phone call from the realtor with our offer while we were there. Frances got super mad about the offer saying we were insulting her by offering less than asking price. We reminded her that it wasn’t personal but we should leave. We ended up getting the house after a couple of counter offers.
