Blood or Paint?

I don't remember how I got it on myself in this dream but, my hands, were covered in red gunk. It was all the way up to my elbow. There was a few splats of the stuff on my face and I know it was on my face because I was joking around and taking pictures of myself and posting them on some random site saying "lol I totally just killed a guy". And that's when I woke up. I have the small feeling that it's paint but since I don't know how I got it on myself, I have NO idea.
