neighbours

we got new neighbours. they were a family of five and the dad was bald. they were very sociable and insisted on repeatedly coming round for a chat and always keeping in contact. my parents loved them for this but i hated them. it was hell. the dad made a joke about me that stuck and my own family started associating me with this joke. after one of their many trips my mum took me out for a mini driving lesson. she asked me what i would do hypothetically if a dog were to jump out. i asked her loads of follow up questions like size, species and age of dog that she just gave up with the question.
