My mother had me helping her with some things after a service. One of those things was hooking up audio wire to an audio box so that the audio team could finish recording the audio from the service. In the middle of plugging in the wires, I accidentally broke the plastic connectors and got shooed away. I then was tasked to feed someone's snakes. She had called me on the phone to give me instructions, but I couldn't hear her, so I moved to another room. In order to make sure I understood her instructions, I asked her multiple times what they were, repeated them back to her and then went to record my screen while she repeated the instructions. Then I went to go feed the snakes. (They looked more like worms). I did as I was told. I threw her snake in with the rest in the room. I threw a blanket over them, then fed them. As I was pulling my hand back from throwing the food, her snake managed to come out from under the blanket and bite the top of my left hand. I quickly recoiled and left the room. I run into my mom, who happened to be nearby and saw me get bit. She cleaned up my bite. Afterwards, she went to check on the audio team's progress. On our way back to the room, I could here the woman who asked me to feed the snakes telling everyone during the service to pray for me because I had been bit by a highly venomous snake. I had remembered that she said that the snake was not venomous at all and thought out loud to mom that either she was lying to me at the beginning or she's lying now. My mother interrupts me to say that she knows her and that what the woman said to me first was the truth. I believe her. She checks on the audio team and we head downstairs to leave. As we are going, we see snippets of shows I saw when I was a kid (not real shows). We meet someone at the bottom of the stairs and we reminisce on those shows. I share that I knew that a line from one of the shows was a directly translated Korean saying, which is why it didn't make much sense. Suddenly, weird things start happening, and I'm chased by giant Pop Tarts. I am beckoned by someone to follow them and they give me shrinking gum to chew. I shrink, then the Pop Tarts shrink too. I thought that they wouldn't be able to see me, but they find me and chase me. As I run to a room, I start growing again. Suddenly, and group of people is trying to kill me because I did something offensive to them. My mom and the people of my tribe wouldn't let them hurt me. They hid me amongst them, standing in front of me as a blockade. A couple of friends were in the back with me and we started throwing dough balls at them. My tribe told us to not do that, but I was angry at the other tribe, so I kept on throwing dough balls at them. After a moment, I stopped because I realized I was the only one throwing them and the other tribe probably knew that it was me. So I just wandered in the area behind the blockade and scouted out the area. I went up a set of stairs to a back room. I could here the blockade shouting A'Challa. I knew what they were trying to say, but didn't shout with them. Then I see T'Challa, king of our tribe and start chanting "T'Challa" as I backed away back down the stairs to honor his presence. Everyone joined in with the chanting. I then see a flash of green light in the front of the room. I stop, thinking it Is the queen mother of the tribe. After closely looking, I realized that it was OK oye, leader of the guards. She takes me to the back of the room, next to the queen mother. I hear the lines that I'm supposed to say, but I don't say them at all, as I let Okoye do what she's going to do with me (I was supposed to say that I felt as if I was a burden to everyone) . She starts by telling me that she will not let anyone hand me over to the other tribe for any reason. The underlying reason was that my mother had done great things that help to positively affect our tribe, all the way to the leadership. So she was valuable, which meant that I was valuable. Okoye started massaging me, telling me that I was incredibly stressed and my muscles were tight. She mentioned that she was surprised that I hadn't mentioned that I felt like a burden to everyone. I told her that my mother had taught not to feel that way and to embrace any help that comes to me. She finished the massage and we waited for everything to subside. While we were waiting, I heard a commotion and saw a woman brandishing a special gun behind the lines. She took a shot at me and I narrowly dodged the shot. I then could hear the other tribe get loud and they started pushing against the blockade of people protecting me. That scared me, so I start running. The blockade dissolves as they continue to try to keep the other tribe away from me. As I run, I find more and more people from the other tribe closing in on me, throwing eating utensils at me. I rush to get away. I narrowly get away from them, with some of our tribe's guards close behind me. The other tribe managed to get a fort speared in my left hand, right above where I got the snake bite. Okoye and the guards do a once over of me and see my hand speared. They then check my abdomen and see that the woman who had shot at me skimmed my left side. They cleaned my wounds and patched me up on the instruction of Okoye. During this time, Okoye was doting on me.
