It was me and a couple other people going across a desserted lanscspe just trying to make it through I suppose. But I do remember wood was very valuable and every chance we got we would try to collect beams and plywood for shelter. We found this ramshackle two story house and thats where we spent the night for one of the days. Tge day cycles were super short maybe only 3-4 hours. So it was super slow going. We must have been on some other planet. We came across this small hut made in this divot in the path. It was a very small shack made out of stapled together boards. We started to tear it apart ti scavenge some of the wood, but in the distance I saw this person or animal (pig?) humanoid creature coming back towards us. This must have been its house. We managed to hide from it and eventually run behind a sand dune kind of thing and keep walking. We stayed the night there and in the morning the creature left so we went back and ripped apart the hut and put the boards in a couple of wheel barrows we had found. Just over the hill in the directions we had been walking we found a whole shelf like home depot style full of new wood. We stopped to fill the wheel barrows even more and then out of no where there came a meteor strike and I scrambled under some of the proped up wood leaned against the side of the shelf.
