Last night I had a dream that Shanon and I were in Florida and there was a restaurant called, “Loudonville’s” and it had four restaurants in one: The old Dairy, Mellor’s, some Ashland coffe bean place, and ine other that I didn’t recognize. There was a drive-thru for each an they were packed full of cars. We went inside, which did have some seating, but their main thing was pick-up-and-go and their bleacher area, which I will get to shortly, but I want to talk about the inside. Nothing fancy. The had little displays set up with items you could buy. The Ashland coffee bean place had a display selling various goods. “Big Nut” (the Ohio State guy with his face painted half scarlet and half grey) had a shelf with his Salsa and BBQ sauces. Jones’ Potato Chips had a room around the corner from where some people were eating. Shanon had to use the ladies’ room, so I ventured off to the bleacher section, which was attached to what I would call the front of this place (only, because it was closest to the main drag). So the bleacher area you had to walk up some stairs and turn around and you see a line of bleachers (basically if you took an entire section from Jacob’s Field, but with a pavilion roof above). There was also a section with high-tables under some palm trees and not under the pavilion. Across from the high-tables was a giant scoreboard withe the huge screen like you would see at any major league baseball game! They livestream various Ohio Sports games throughout the day and must pay someone to run the scoreboard to make it an immersive experience (it feels as if you are at the actual game). They sold all the types of food and drink you would expect at a game. It was packed too! I ran into Uncle Buzz, who was sitting up in the bleachers and saw my cousin “Moe” sitting at one of the high-tables. Who knew Ohio could be so popular in Florida 🙂
